2011 Spring Chill Thrill Overview

This post highlights the things that went well this year the areas that we could improve on.

THINGS THAT WENT WELL
Concessions-hotdogs, coffee, chili, hot stuff.
Concessions outside so customers could see everything.
Soda sold well
93.7 Live, Great!
Hot tubs and iceshack set up well.
NATH booth
Shirts were finished before the event
Hole cut the day before

OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE
Get a Porto-potty donated
Dont have cold concessions items like cookies.
Get an announcer, possibly the footstock guy. logan knows him.
Land stunts- dryland doubles, pyramid, trio. It can give new customers a taste of what we do in the summer.
Park sauna by the bleachers. Its in the sun and easier to access.
Have sponsor boards already set up before start time.
Make a small booth/board to showcase HWS. pictures, accomplishments ex."we donated $500 for fireworks in 2009" and "we donated $3000 to local charitable organizations in the past 3 years" our mission to improve area youth.
Make HWS postcards to be able to send thank you notes, reminders, etc. have a picture of a jumper on the card.
2011 we had shirt sizes 5S 20M 20L 5XL, we should have had more smalls, maybe 10S 20M 15LG 5XL.
2012 have shirts for sale too. Have a funny waterskiing quote on it.
Invite other clubs to join HWS and NATH, offer a part of their proceeds to return back to thier club.
Cap our donation something like, %50 up to $2500.
Greesed watermelon competition.
Bobbing for apples
Get food donated from local businesses to serve.
Delegate specific tasks to members "you do registration"
Timeslots for jumpers, easier for announcer to give recognition.
Acknowledge our main supporters like pool people.

Welcome Fellow Skishow Members!

WELCOME EVERYONE!

Its as easy as:
1) Contact a business!
2) Email me to keep me informed!
3) Check this blog to find out how everyone else is doing!

This blog is desigined for members to keep in contact with eachother in order to efficiently raise pledges and prizes for the 2011 Spring Chill Thrill. If we keep this blog up to date we can eliminate overlap in our efforts to raise pledges and prizes.

When you contact a business for a donation please email me about it. If they say no, I need to know that too! Then I will update this blog so everyone can view it to keep up to date which businesses have been contacted. It can be slightly embarassing and inefficient if we ask the same business for a donation multiple times.

Please tell me if you have special connections to a particular business that you would like to contact yourself.
During the next two weeks keep me informed so I can frequently update this blog.

If you have never blogged before, DONT WORRY! It is easy, convenient, and fun! You do not need an account to view this page. Anyone can make "comments", even if you don not have an account.

SPRING CHILL THRILL- SATURDAY MARCH 19TH 1PM!!!
If you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to contact me,
